We love seeing the James Beard nominees because somewhere, way back at the beginning of the chef or entrepreneur’s plan, they built a restaurant. For many, we got to be a part of the team that did the work.
Restaurant work has always been our passion. Restaurants were also the jobs that got us started in the plumbing world. We do lots of other types of jobs now but restaurants are where we excel because we have so much experience plumbing them.
So we always love to see the places we’ve plumbed and the people we help get awarded.
There are so many amazing new places to eat in the cities of Puget Sound. I love these lists for inspiration. But, if I have a favorite place to go it’s Walrus and Carpenter. Congratulations to chef Rene Erickson – plus Beast and Cleaver (not a project we worked on) but one that we patronize because it’s amazing and 2 blocks away!
